Join us for the Jingle Bell 5K Run-Walk and 2Mile Walk benefiting Bikes for Kids. This fun filled family run will also include a Kids 1K, so everyone can participate in this festive event in downtown Corpus Christi. We will have a Post-Party at the House of Rock. Register for the race and help raise money to provide a new bike for a child this holiday season.

Kids 1K Run at 8:30 am
5K Run-Walk and 2Mile Walk at 8:45 am (estimated)

Location:  House of Rock, 511 Starr Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78401. House of Rock is located in Downtown Corpus Christi a few blocks South of the Caller Times building.

5K Run-Walk (Ages 6 and Up)
2Mile Walk (Ages 4 and Up)
Kids 1K Run (Ages 4 to 10)

Finish Line:  Watch for a something special, you must not be Naughty, you must be Nice.

Shirts:  You must register by Monday, December 1, 2014 to be guaranteed a shirt. Registrations after December 1 MAY receive a shirt based on availability. Please register now.

Post Event Food / Drink:  After the event, you will come inside The House of Rock where participants can enjoy beverages with food and music available to all. Come into the House for the party after the event. Kids - Hot Chocolate, Cookies and something special.  Adults 21 and over; you know what to expect.

5K Run-Walk - Overall Male and Female, Masters (40 to 59) Male and Female and Grand Masters (60+) Male and Female plus Age Group Awards

2Mile Walk - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place Overall Male and Female.  No Age Group Awards for 2Mile Walk.

Kids 1K - Finisher ribbon

All 5K and 2Mile Finishers receive something special at the Finish Line!

Age Groups: (5K Only) - (6 to 9), (10 to 14), (15 to 19), (20 to 29), (30 to 39), (40 to 49),
(50 to 59), (60 to 69) and 70 plus.

$40 at Packet Pickup on Friday, December 12

Kids 1K Run - (Ages 4 to 10)

Parents if you wish to participate with your child in the Kids 1K, you must stay off the course and stay on the sidewalks!

Packet Pickup: Friday, December 12, 2014.  The time and location for Packet Pickup will  be announced soon.  You will receive several emails informing you about Packet Pickup and other Race Day information.  Packet Pickup Registration may be available on Friday, please register now and $ave.

Race Day packet pickup will be available from 7:00am until 8:00am at the House of Rock on Saturday morning for those traveling from out of town. Please try to attend packet pickup on Friday.  You may send someone to Packet Pickup to obtain your race packet.

Timing:  Pendgo Timing will time the 5K Run-Walk and 2Mile Walk using the most state of the art equipment. The Kids 1K Run will not be timed. Pendgo Timing uses a disposable bib chip that is attached to your race bib. You will NOT be asked to stand in long line the morning of the event waiting for someone to hand you a chip. You will also NEVER be chased down after a running event by someone trying to cut-off your chip. Pendgo Timing is a local company that hires local people who live and work in your community.

Parking:  Parking is available at various parking lots close to the House of Rock. Additional downtown street parking is also available.

Charity:  Bikes for Kids is a non-profit organization that raises money each year to provide needy children in our area with a new bicycle at Christmas. Bay Area Bicycles donates their time and skill to assemble and store the bicycles while other organizations, including the Corpus Christi Triathlon Club work to raise money on behalf of Bikes for Kids. Please sign-up for our event so that a needy child can enjoy the thrill of riding a new bike during this Holiday Season. Marketing and promotion for the event is being provided by Malkan Broadcasting.
